Safety for ME!

Teaching kids to be confident and stay safe

The earlier children learn, the better.

The Safety For ME! program empowers 5-11-year-old girls and boys by giving them the tools to recognize potential threats, make safer choices, advocate for themselves, and deter aggressive or predatory behavior.

In this interactive presentation, children learn practical safety skills through discussion and guided activities, building confidence to respond effectively in unsafe situations. The program’s goal is to enhance children’s safety, self-advocacy, and awareness through education that works regardless of age, strength, or size.

This 30-45-minute presentation will cover:

  • Understanding Personal Space

  • Safe vs. Unsafe Touch

  • Knowing Who to Trust

  • Awareness of Strangers

  • Responding to Unsafe Situations

  • Safety Skills Practice

  • Interactive Learning

Presentations are available for the following 2 age ranges:

Ages 5-7 and Ages 8-11

Teaching children about personal safety is vital to ensure their well-being, protect them from harm, and help them grow into confident, informed adults.

People who sexually abuse children are often someone the child knows and trusts. In fact, 93% of child victims know the person who abused them. *RAINN

Being a survivor of child sexual assault, I feel an overwhelming responsibility to raise awareness about the crimes of sexual violence with the goal of prevention. Jane Doe No More has given me the opportunity, the platform, and the power to do such.
