Survivors Speak

Empowering survivors to heal, share, advocate and inspire

No more shame. No more blame. No more fear.

Survivors Speak™ empowers survivors to share their stories through specialized professional training in public speaking and team building, allowing them to advance their own healing while helping to educate audiences of all kinds.

Transformation from victim to survivor

Survivors are the heart of all that we do. We provide hope and let victims know there is a path forward after trauma, showing that it is possible to become strong, resilient survivors. Through our program, survivors not only share their personal experiences to raise awareness at a variety of venues and with diverse audiences, but also bond with one another through fun events, self-care activities, and simply being there for each other. This supportive community strengthens their healing journey while empowering them to educate, inspire, and transform the world around them.

This 1-day workshop involves:

  • Exploring and documenting your personal story in a safe and supportive environment

  • Advancing your healing by bonding with other survivors

  • Gaining confidence by learning to share your story publicly

  • Increasing your resilience through empowerment

  • Graduating from the program to become a member of our Survivors Speak Outreach Team and ultimately educate society by sharing your personal story with audiences of all kinds

One of the first times I shared my story at Fairfeld University, we had a panel afterwards and multiple students in the audience stood up and shared they were victims for the first time, in front of hundreds of their classmates. The power of being brave and sharing my story gave others the strength to speak out. I will never forget that moment.

Our workshops are transformational.

Participants explore, document and ultimately share their personal stories with fellow survivors in a supportive environment.

Most victims of sexual crimes suffer in silence. We help victims find their voice.

It is so important as a survivor that you know that it is not your fault and you are not alone.
