Scope
This policy applies to all Jane Doe No More employees, contractors, volunteers, board members, interns, and program participants.
Harassment and Hostile Environment
Discrimination includes not only unequal treatment, but also harassment that creates a hostile, intimidating, or offensive environment. Any conduct—verbal, physical, or visual—that demeans or shows hostility toward an individual based on any protected characteristic is strictly prohibited.
Reporting and Response
Any individual who experiences or witnesses discrimination is encouraged to report it promptly to:

Reports will be handled sensitively, and confidentiality will be maintained to the fullest extent possible. Retaliation against any person who reports discrimination in good faith is strictly prohibited and will result in disciplinary action.
Corrective Action
If a violation of this policy is confirmed, appropriate disciplinary action will be taken, up to and including termination of employment, removal from a volunteer role, or expulsion from program participation.

This policy will be reviewed annually and updated as needed to ensure alignment with applicable laws and best practices for fostering an inclusive organizational culture.
