Moments

Abrupt and breathtaking moments when the sediment is shaken
And the golden stardust of my soul is stirred
They meet in the middle of my beautiful container.

The murky, thick, muddy clay that keeps me rooted in everyday life
Flirts with the light, vibrant and shimmering tingle of your ether.

One dancing with the other, a gentle whisper barely there
Slowly, bringing to life a new vision of who I could be.

Pause… take a step back.
It is then that I realize that I can be all of this and more.

The dark and serious weight of eternity
Is ready and waiting to be wrapped in this beautiful, radiant light.
