Community Outreach

Engaging society to drive change and be part of the solution

Our Community Outreach and Advocacy programs are survivor-led and engage individuals in the community, in the legislature, at businesses, corporations and organizations to work together to create real and meaningful change.

Each of us can and should play a role to stop the epidemic of sexual crimes. Through our survivor-led and trauma-informed presentations, we will give you tips and tools so you can be a part of the solution.

Sexual crimes affect us all.

This 30-60-minute presentation
will cover:

  • Overview of Sexual Crimes

  • Firsthand Survivor Stories & Experiences

  • Prevention & Awareness Tips

  • Survivor Support

  • Ending Revictimization & Rape Culture

Both in-person and virtual events are now available.

Coastal Carriers of CT is in a unique position as a transportation company to help Jane Doe No More get their message out. Together we are letting people know that they can help prevent these types of crimes from happening while we encourage survivors to come forward, get past that shame and fear, and find a way to begin the healing process.
— John Pruchnicki, President, Coastal Carriers of CT

Every 68 seconds, an American is sexually assaulted. And every 9 minutes, that victim is a child.*

*RAINN

Too many have been silent for far too long.

There is a lot of work to be done and it starts with knowledge. Each of us has the ability to take part in creating a safer world. Sexual crimes can and do happen everywhere; in homes, businesses and neighborhoods of all kinds.

Learn about it.
Talk about it.

Healthy discussions lead to greater understanding and responsibility.

Join our movement to create change.
