Teen Initiative

Teen-driven Initiative to play an Active Role in Raising Awareness and Prevention of Sexual Crimes

Carol Wilton, Jane Doe No More Program Manager and Dr. Bill Petit, President of the Petit Family Foundation along with members of our Teen Initiative Team at our Annual Gala.

Teens from local high schools share ideas with Jane Doe No More staff and volunteers in a recent creative session.

Jane Doe No More has been working on a new Teen Initiative thanks to a grant from the Petit Family Foundation. We are engaging teens from diverse backgrounds in Connecticut to help create a multi-media campaign including print and video.

Teens will have the ability to work with professional scriptwriters and filmmakers from American View Productions and will be involved in creating and producing an educational video as part of the campaign. When complete, this peer-to-peer campaign will be introduced in high-schools across the state.

Gibson’s romance is as bright and sparkling as the ruby ring at the center of the painting … A charming romance that’s as warm and cozy as hot chocolate on a winter’s day.
