Kristin Okesson is the Vice President and Market Manager for Cox Media Group Connecticut overseeing 6 radio stations-WPLR-FM, WEZN-FM, WYBC-FM, WFOX-FM, & WSTC-AM/WNLK-AM. She is a broadcast professional with nearly two decades of experience in the radio industry.
She has held a number of jobs within the field, from account manager to general sales manager, a position she held for eight years at WEBE-FM and WICC-AM, to, most recently, market manager for Cumulus Media in Danbury, Connecticut, and Westchester County, New York. Ms. Okesson has been recognized by "Radio Ink" as an industry leader in sales management. Ms. Okesson is currently on the board of directors of the Stamford Chamber of Commerce, the Norwalk Chamber of Commerce, as well as a Board Trustee & Treasurer for Girls Inc. of Southwestern CT. Ms. Okesson is a graduate of Sacred Heart University in Fairfield, the Connecticut School of Broadcasting in Farmington, and lives in Woodbury with her husband Bill Okesson (Owner & Chef-John's Cafe Woodbury, CT) and two young sons.
