Peggy Panagrossi

Peggy Panagrossi has been executive director of Safe Haven of Greater Waterbury for over 19 years. During her tenure as executive director, the agency has expanded its domestic violence counseling programs, adopted the sexual assault crisis services program, enhanced services for children, and opened a satellite office in Southbury, CT.
Peggy is a past board member for the Connecticut Coalition Against Domestic Violence, Waterbury Area Food Share, Naugatuck Valley Community College and Big Brothers/Big Sisters of Meriden and Wallingford. She has served on the Campaign Cabinet for United Way of Central Naugatuck Valley. She is currently a member of the Waterbury Exchange Club. Peggy has received the Human Services award from the Cheshire League of Women Voters and the Virginia Nolan Memorial Award from the Child Guidance Clinic of Greater Waterbury.
Peggy is a graduate of Regis College and the mother of three children. She resides in Cheshire, CT.
Peggy currently serves on the advisory board for Jane Doe No More, Inc.
