Nancy Kushins possesses over twenty years experience in the public and private sectors. Her areas of expertise include nonprofit leadership and human resources management, with proficiency in organizational development, strategic planning, revenue generation, and sales.
As Executive Director, her present role with Connecticut Sexual Assault Crisis Services includes oversight of all functions of the organization. CONNSACS is a statewide association of individual sexual assault crisis programs working to end sexual violence through victim assistance, community education and public policy advocacy. CONNSACS actively seeks and administers funds to develop and support its member organizations; participates in collaborative efforts to promote social change with national, state, and local organizations; provides a forum for the exchange of skills and information regarding the response to and prevention of sexual assault; and serves as a mechanism for the development and maintenance of appropriate standards of services for sexual assault crisis centers.
Prior to joining CONNSACS, Nancy held management/leadership positions with the American Red Cross, the United Way and an executive search firm.
Nancy currently serves on the advisory board for Jane Doe No More, Inc.
