Lynn Ward joined the Waterbury Regional Chamber in November 1984. Over the past 23 years, she has held progressively more responsible positions, including her current role as Executive Vice President and CFO, a position she has held since 1998. As the EVP, Lynn advises the Chamber President and board of directors on policy decisions, oversees the team of professional and administrative staff, and is responsible for all operational and financial functions at the Chamber.
Lynn is also the director of the Chamber's affiliate organizations including the Naugatuck Chamber of Commerce and the Business Women's Forum. She has played a leading role in the planning, execution and success of the Business Women's Forum -- an annual conference for women executives. After her appointment to the board of the Forum, she was elected Co-Chair in 1996, and Chair in 1997. Lynn has served as the Forum's Director since 1998, advising and mentoring the elected leadership.
In addition to her professional responsibilities Lynn is a member of the American Chamber of Commerce Executives and the New England Association of Chamber of Commerce Executives. On a local level, she serves on the board of directors of Easter Seals of Greater Waterbury. In 1991, Lynn received the YWCA Women in Business Leadership Award, and in 1999 she graduated from the Leadership Greater Waterbury program.
Lynn is the mother of two and step-mother of three children. She and her husband Fraser reside in Wolcott, CT.
Lynn currently serves on the board of directors for Jane Doe No More, Inc.
