Brian Klanica joined Swingbridge Capital in June 2000. His primary focus is on deal origination, negotiations, structuring, due diligence, strategic planning, "turn around management", debt restructuring and specializes in financial advisory engagements. He currently sits on multiple boards, and has successfully completed many investment banking and financial advisory engagements.
Brian has over twenty years of operational and financial management experience in middle market companies. Prior to joining Swingbridge, (May 1996-June 2000) he was the Vice President, Chief Financial Officer for Mossberg Corporation a leading firearms manufacturer. He was responsible for complete financial and strategic management. He structured numerous transactions, which lead to successfully diversifying a firearms manufacturer. His previous experience also includes nine years (Oct 1987-May 1996) as Vice President, Chief Financial Officer for The Fletcher-Terry Company, a middle market manufacturer of glass cutting tools and professional picture framing equipment. He also has four years of public accounting experience. Brian has structured numerous commercial real estate transactions. Throughout his career, he has established many contacts within the financial markets and has structured many creative equity and debt funding arrangements.
Brian graduated from Quinnipiac University in 1984 with a BS in Accounting. He financed his entire education. He is married with two sons, and resides in Cheshire, CT. His hobbies include: golf, fishing, and hunting. He is also involved in karate, where he is a 4th degree Master Black Belt.
Brian currently serves on the board of directors for Jane Doe No More, Inc.
